Our staff developed a prototype 2007 Jack Cassidy desk calendar and printed only a handful of copies. Ryan liked his and we printed a few extras for his use which left us a few to offer to you. These are not going to be mass produced or sold in quantity. This is it.

We are offering two copies of this calendar signed by Ryan Cassidy. The auction has started and will run to February 10th (11:59 PM EST). Bids can be messaged through myspace or emailed. The current highest bid will be posted on the myspace page. Top two bids will win. $1.50 shipping and handling.

(As of 1/24/07): Coming soon! The Official Jack Cassidy Site. We are working on it as we speak. It will be located at JackCassidy.net. It will have more than just his resume, folks and it is authorized by the family.

(As of 1/16/07): A whole new year and a lot is happening! Where Patrick and Melissa helped us with auctions in 2006, Ryan is helping to start out 2007. He is donating his production pass from 'In Search Of The Partridge Family'. It is signed and, of course, one of a kind! Perfect for Partridge fans and Ryan fans alike. We will keep you posted on when the auction will start - Join our friends list on MySpace and get a bulletin when we launch! There will also be an auction of another Ryan-signed, limited edition, Jack-related item that we will announce in the next few weeks! Only staff, Ryan and possibly his brothers have this (not the signed version, of course). It will be sold through private auction and not on eBay.

Ryan has also agreed to do a limited number of interviews (radio and possibly television) to promote the campaign. We will keep you posted as these occur!

Also, a brief news spot will occur on the Los Angeles news show The Rustam Report on January 18! Many, many thanks to journalist Denise Ames for her help!

A Star For Jack is also going to have a few new opportunities in 2007. One upcoming opportunity will be a sterling star pendant. It is sterling silver, simple, stunning and symbollic. Members of the campaign already wear the pendant to remind us what we are working towards. It is not overtly Cassidy-tied but you will know what it stands for each time you wear it. Cost for the pendant will be under $20 and, as always, shipping will be included. We are also looking into raffling a spot on the dedication VIP list (on the Cassidy-side of the velvet rope for the ceremony and lunch afterwards with them). No price has been set yet but we are open to suggestions!

The committee has one more offering for everyone. Ryan is helping us with it and we will be announcing it within the near future. It will be a very, very special Cassidy item that all fans will want for their collection!

(As of 12/9/06): New auction launched! We are auctioning our last signed "Joseph" cd! This one was signed differently and at a different time so it is unique from the last CD (you can see the curent one here and the previous one below - it was signed on the inside). Like the last one, both Patrick and Melissa Cassidy signed the CD. It is hard to find on its own but to have both autographs makes it a very rare item! (As of 10/25/06): Just as a public service (I provide this on Ryan's site), I want to caution eBay bidders when I see something questionnable. There is a vendor named DUGGER64 that is trying to defraud Jack's fans by flagrantly overcharging for a vhs copy of one of his movies. This movie can ususlly be purchased for $5 but he is wanting to charge an unsuspecting fan over 10x that amount. No joke and no mistake. No typos involved. He has listed it several times and when I dared suggest he lower his price to get bids, he was acidically rude to me (see Ryan's board if you want to see what exactly was said). I believe in educated bidding and a fair marketplace. Please be careful. If anyone wants this tape bad enouch, please contact me. I believe I have an extra. I will sell it for $5 plus shipping with all proceeds going to the star fund.

(As of 9/14/06): We have wonderful news and a lot more information for everyone. Some of it will be in the FAQ to answer questions. But we have a wonderful new vendor that I spoke with personally last night. She is licensed by the Walk of Fame committee and really is an angel for this campaign. She had some magnificent ideas gained from her experience. Because of her help this campaign will meet with much swifter success!

(As of 9/5/06): It appears that our auction was not as successful as it appeared since we had to file a complaint against a non-paying bidder. Needless to say, this was not an action we wanted to take. Thankfully, the campaign will not be responsible for the auction fees and we will be relisting the shirt in the near future. However, since the shirt has been auctioned once, we are willing to entertain offers close to the closing price of the auction. If you are interested, please email us! (As of 7/15/06): Welcome to the launch of AStarForJack.org! This is our main news page where we will keep you current of the latest projects and auctions to raise money for Jack's star. We just completed our first auction: A soundtrack for the national tour of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" featuring Patrick Cassidy and Amy Adams. The CD was signed by both Patrick and Melissa Cassidy for the auction. The CD sold on eBay for $81. We thank everyone for visiting and bidding! What a wonderful way to start!
